Mr. Beekman is a junior engineer with experience in risk analysis and statistical modeling techniques, with application to infrastructure and energy. He has conducted research analyzing water distribution network reliability and failure prediction at Johns Hopkins University, as well as wind farm siting and modeling at the Danish Technical University. Mr. Beekman’s analytical skills include: optimization, statistical modeling, data analysis, and risk and decision analysis. His computing skills include Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and R.
Mr. Beekman is currently working on energy conservation planning and assessment for Military Sealift Command (MSC). His role includes development of auditing software, data validation and analysis, and documentation.
