Innovative Decisions, Inc. was well represented at this year's INFORMS Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, held 13-16 November. The theme of the conference was TransfORmation, and IDI staff presented some of their research and applied projects with the potential to make transformational change. IDI president Dennis Buede (25 year INFORMS member) presented a paper on modeling adapative adversaries, and Robin Dillon-Merrill presented a paper on near misses and risk perception. In addition, IDI was very involved, as usual, in organizing and leading session tracks. IDI analysts Greg Parnell, Barry Ezell, and Laura McLay organized nine sessions on decisions analysis, public programs, and security.
