Quality Assurance Program Description

Quality Management. IDI takes great pride in the quality of our products and the value they provide to our clients, and use project control techniques generally accepted by the Project Management Institute (PMI). While every project is unique, some of the techniques IDI employs in project execution include:

Managing Relationships: IDI holds scheduled client meetings to ensure that the products we create are in alignment with client expectations. As part of this process we develop and maintain a set of mutually agreeable metrics that will be used to baseline the project and show progression of milestone completeness during its life cycle.

Project Staffing: IDI ensures the project is appropriately staffed to meet project deadlines and deliverables within cost, schedule, and quality commitments.

Quality Reviews: IDI ensures that every client deliverable goes through an appropriate quality review process.

Risk Management: IDI’s risk management process focuses on early identification of risks that are likely to impact the project, quantifying these risks as to their potential impact (likelihood and severity), and development of mitigation strategies and removal plans.

Quality Reviews. Quality, completeness, and traceability of documentation are critical. "Deliver Quality" and "Exceed Expectations" are IDI's number 1 and 2 core value. We want to ensure that our clients receive only the highest quality products.  We employ a three pronged approach:

Performance Management. We continuously monitor our performance and apply corrective actions when necessary to achieve and sustain a high quality of service. We focus on communication enhancements as well as process and reporting improvements. We evaluate costs, schedules, and technical performance to execute tasks more efficiently and effectively.

Hire and Train Quality Employees. We set high performance standards for our employees. We evaluate performance via peer reviews and interaction with task leaders.

Quality Control Process. We employ a five step quality control process to deliverables. Using both technical management and peer reviews, our process allows for another set of eyes to review each deliverable and provides a technical review by discipline-specific experts, resulting in consistently high-quality products.
