Decision and Risk Analysis



IDI offers courses lasting up to five days in risk and decision analysis, entitled Innovative Decision and Risk Analysis. The course provides a practical overview and introduction to the discipline of decision and risk analysis. The practical, hands-on format introduces students to decision analysis using the software package DPL. The one-day course provides an introduction to the basic concepts and techniques of decision and risk analysis. The two-day course allows the students to examine a wider variety of decision analysis applications. The three-day course builds on the theories and illustrations provided in the shorter courses and allows each student to practice building models using DPL.
